Bio

Estefania Ramires-Sanchez has been a member of DOMStat since 2017, and has collaborated on dozens of projects including projects in Pulmonary Medicine, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Education, and the Diversity Program Consortium (DPC). Specializing in building surveys for clinical trials, collecting data repositories, and organizing multi-site projects, she has built countless databases in RedCap that are currently in use. Her talent in building large databases translates into developing scripts that generate recurring reports for longitudinal analysis. Alongside her colleague, Arseniy Vasilyev, she manages a query system that allows for instant tracking of databases during data collection to ensure data quality for future analysis. Estefania's areas of interest include high-dimensional data, survey data, prediction modeling, and correlation analysis, in addition to data quality. Prior to joining DOMStat she studied statistics at UCLA, and is looking to pursue a PhD in Biostatistics.
